Got mine in the mail today and figured I’d try it out.
Everything I tested turned up in the norm except the huge
nectarines (tasted terrible too). Fortunately, the late
watermelons with normal nitrate levels helped compensate for
that. All in all, I’m satisfied.

The device has the best counter (Geiger) of today - SBM-20-1. The Ecotester is the device of tomorrow – it’s a hit. I’m buying it and sending all over the world to all of my acquaintances. His only drawback is batteries. Thus also buying AA rechargeable batteries and a charging unit. As to put to the producer – it’s not so cheap, the unit to save candle-ends. Although innovative. Rechargeable batteries should come with. Mark the defects identification as follows – as the batteries run down, the gage readings as toxic chemicals tester are not correct. For lack of the current. Fix the problem, gentlemen!! Good luck to all of you!

I purchased the Ecotester SOEKS just a couple of weeks ago today. It has a radiation counter and a nitrate meter in one. The device is small and compact, easy to put into a handbag just like any mobile phone. I could finally set my mind at ease about buying fish: it could have been fished out in Japan sea and penetrated with radiation after that Fukusima disaster… And now the problem is not there any more – the device peeks and shows whether the product is safe within a minute. The same thing with fruit and vegetables: pierce the fruit with a tiny spindle, pick the name from the list and wait for 10 seconds… Then you know if the banana, apple of cucumber if stuffed with chemicals or not. You may even work out the safe daily dose for adults and for kids. So easy and safe!

Such a great gadget! My life really changed to the better side: I checked my house, my country-house, my car… My wife doesn’t pick food without. She says it works =)

I have been using the item for a month. I’m satisfied with the display menu. It measures ok so far. Just one problem with nitrate tester: once the nitrate level above the line fixed, you’ll have to wipe the stem carefully and switch off/on the device before you get to another product. Otherwise it can glitch and fail to measure correctly later on.

Two weeks I use it already. Charge from PC. 2 1-ampere AAA accumulators bought. All declared works fine. When nitrates – it shows, radiation where I check – less 0.23 mSv/h.
